The remodel/addition at 711 W. Elizabeth is finished! Here's a shot of the front.We're particularly pleased at how well the house fits into the neighborhood. We proved that you can add space and livability without looming over the neighbors, which is a big issue in Bouldin, where so many houses are being altered or replaced. We stopped on the way out of the neighborhood to snap a shot that sums up the issue for many. -Turns out, you CAN have enough space and express your individual style without ruining the neighborhood for everyone else!
This addition/remodel added a new second floor, along with a great upper level screened porch with cool views and breezes, a new kitchen, an enlarged family room, a downstairs master suite, and a future phase will add a ground floor screened porch. With all of that, we maintained the integrity and wonderful character of the original 500 s.f. cottage.
